300 – David Bowie – Aladdin Sane (1913-1938-197?) (1973)
Written by David Bowie
Produced by Ken Scott and David Bowie
Label – RCA

Having sacrificed Ziggy and the band, Bowie re-invented himself yet again with a more experimental sound. The title track of “Aladdin Sane” shows Bowie’s incredible ability to conjure up new styles, this time employing avant-garde jazz pianist Mike Garson for that mesmerizing two minute solo. Never had mainstream rock/pop music sounded so otherworldly.
